Andy's Bit......

This is my bit of the SqueezeIn website I've been "allowed" to use for promoting my favourite artists, books, alcoholic drinks etc. I'm rubbish at making things look good so I can give you links and names (well sometimes not even links) and it'll have to do.

Kat Flint - Amazing singer/songwriter from Edinburgh, now based in London.
Recommended song(s):
 Ohio, Shotgun Wedding
From the Album "Dirty Birds"

Moriarty - French, Swiss, American and Vietenamese Caberet Folk Band, sound like a country band with a distinctive European twist.
Recommended song(s): Cottonflower, Private Lily, Animals Can't Laugh
From the Album "Gee Whiz But This is a Lonesome Town"

Jack Harris - Soulful folk music, an exceptional guitarist, an exceptional singer, exceptional charm and wit on stage make Jack Harris destined for success, his debut album "Broken Yellow" is out now, buy it, it's absolutely brilliant. I've played with him 3 times now across the country and he is probably the most charasmatic and humble guy I have ever met, if you ever see him play talk to him afterwards, you will have a great conversation, he can make the most mundane thing sound interesting!!
Recommended song(s): Oast Houses
From the Album "Broken Yellow"

Rosie Jones - I've had the good fortune of playing with 19 year old Rosie Jones, she has supported Frank Turner & is apparently learning the Mandolin now, I'm definately going to make the effort to go watch her again before she starts selling out shows, because it is going to happen.
Recommended song(s): Tennessee

Jess Bryant - Has a voice of a troubled angel, melodies of the undead and an incredible sound that brings rooms to a halt.
Recommended song(s): Dusk, Belladonna

Rob Dunsford - Has possibly writen two of the best songs I've ever heard, a friend of mine & quite possibly a genius, his songs "Don't Go To The Otherside of The World" (with the amazing line "You know that you've got problems when a girl puts an entire planet inbetween her & you") and "Dashboard Therapy" (which now makes entire venues stop, stare, tap along & even sing along) are going to make him a lot bigger at festivals in the summer, with help from Eric Heath on the Accordian/Melodeon he is just a down-to-earth kinda guy playing his guitar & singing about his life, make sure you check him out....
